The Amazon Summer Beauty Sale: Everything to know, plus early deals to shop now

After testing dozens of mascaras earlier this year, I named Maybelline’s Lash Sensational the best mascara of 2025. The no-smudge, zero-flake formula lengthens and thickens lashes without being a hassle to apply (I did not have to remove globs from the applicator brush once in the last month — a first).

In addition to having this beauty editor’s vote, more than 80,000 five-star reviewers rave about it on Amazon, all stating something along the lines of, “10/10 would recommend, I’ve ordered this six times now … it’s the best mascara I’ve ever used.” Truly, it’s that good.

These dual-textured facial toner pads are among the best products we’ve found for clearing out clogged pores, evening skin tone and giving your face that healthy, clean glow. Now they’re available in this mild version, which is no less potent, but gentle enough for sensitive skin.

I’m a long-time fan of the Jessica Alba-approved beauty brand Grace & Stella, which puts out reliably good, vegan, cruelty-free skin care at an affordable price. But I was next-level impressed by these potent eye masks, which are packed with retinol, hyaluronic acid and sea moss to nourish the delicate under-eye skin and brighten the area overall.

After 10 minutes, these pretty little patches worked wonders on my eye bags, de-puffing them to a degree that I looked like I got some of the better sleep of my life.

But I’ll start by telling you that its matte (but not too dry) lip stain is among my favorites, especially in this universally flattering tawny mauve. While these products are already affordable, the entire line is likely to go on sale next week, when you can pick up these stellar cosmetics for a song.

Lucky for me, the reliably good K-beauty brand CosRx makes it easy with this two-part glow-boosting set, which comes with its famous 6 Peptide serum and — bonus — a potent 25% vitamin C elixir. The two work in tandem to improve skin clarity and elasticity, helping to brighten and tighten as they go.  

I’m hoping to see loads of highly regarded skin-care staples from Kiehl’s in the upcoming Amazon sale, including this long-standing cult-fave eye cream, which utilizes a unique oil-in-water formula to bring extra hydration to dry, crepey lips and crinkly under-eyes. 

I’m testing products to update our roundup of the best facial sunscreens and — spoiler alert — this incredible hydrating serum/skin glowifier/potent SPF 30 is about to top the list. The best way to describe this non-greasy, fast-absorbing gel is that it’s a truly beautiful product. It’s lightweight, almost like a mousse, and has a pearly shimmer that, once applied, lends a subtle luster to skin unlike anything I’ve tried. When I use this sunscreen, my face looks healthier and plain ol’ younger, the kind of sheen you get when you’re 17 and just ran a bunch of laps in P.E.

The only con to Tula’s sunscreen is the price, but Amazon’s Summer Beauty Event might be just the time to pick up a tube or two.
